Been camping here since I was a kid practically. While it's a nice campground it's gotten worse. Police no longer patrol the campground forcing you to either stay at the campground and protect your belongings or leave for a couple hours and get your camp site burglarized. This last experience was very bad, first we paid for a camp site which someone took down and posted for themselves which made us have to find a new camp site while they took ours, then we left and people stood our wood, then we left again and while checking in on a sick relative someone went to our camp site, went into my tent and stole a camping lantern. Not happy with the menahga police officers after this experience. I'd recommend going to a camp site with regular police patrols and more safety for your belongings
Nice setting right out of town. Picnic shelters and well maintained restrooms.
If towering Pines and silent songs are your thing, then you must come here. The sounds of the North will call you to sleep after a soothing day on one of our lakes. The world's cares do not exist here. Only peace and lucidity. Why not experience for yourself.
Wonderful facility. Good water for hook ups. Excellent size sites. Nice walking trails. Better access to lake someday would be nice.
Loved coming to this park for a week's stay, while visiting relatives. Now prices were recently raised too high for us to continue.
